Goa, May 30 -- In a major boost for students from rural Goa, Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly Ramesh Tawadkar announced the launch of a Residential Academic Centre aimed at preparing students for competitive exams like NEET and JEE. The initiative will begin this academic year and is an extension of the residential school project that started in 2008 for students from Quepem, Sanguem, and Canacona.

Tawadkar stated that the school, which currently provides education up to 12th Science, will now offer specialized training for entrance exams through a collaboration with Acharya Academy, Pune. "All expert faculty from Acharya Academy will train the students. This facility will be completely free of cost," he said.
