Goa, June 1 -- Marking a powerful leap forward for Goa's energy future, the state successfully test-charged a new 220 KV transmission line on May 30, 2025, linking the Dharbandora and Xeldem substations. This crucial development under Resonia Limited's Goa Tamnar Transmission Project aims to bring more stable and reliable electricity to Goan homes and businesses.

The 220 KV line follows key milestones already achieved under the project. In November 2024, the state completed the energization of the 400 KV Mapusa-Dharbandora transmission line and the 400/220 KV Dharbandora sub-station.
