PANJIM, June 1 -- Goa's COVID-19 active case tally on Sunday reduced to 27 following the recovery of two patients. However, a positive case was also reported.

Addressing media persons, Secretary Health Nila Mohanan said a female, who had travelled from Maharashtra via a road, tested positive and has been shifted to COVID hospital-ESI, Margao. "Her condition is stable," she said.

Mohanan informed that two patients have been cured and are put under quarantine. "With this, the tally of active cases came down to 27," she said.

Of the total 71 confirmed cases, since January till date, 44 have recovered.
