After being bowled out for 164 in their first innings, Goa struggled to contain Madhya Pradesh, who amassed a commanding 390 in 121.5 overs. Resuming the second day on 321 for seven, Madhya Pradesh consolidated their advantage, with Pushkar Vishwakarma scoring a valuable 40 from the lower order.
