Goa, Jan. 2 -- Calangute Police arrested a 36-year-old man and seized methamphetamine valued at approximately Rs.4.5 lakh during an anti-narcotics raid conducted near the Little Goa Restaurant at Porbowado, Calangute, on December 23, 2025.
The operation was carried out by a Calangute Police Station team led by PSI Rajaram Bagkar, along with police constables Anshul Ghadi, Sandip Gawas, Siddhant Lamgaonkar, Gaurang Surlekar and Gitesh Gawas. During the raid, the accused - identified as Vishnu Harmalkar, a resident of Aldona in Bardez - was allegedly found in possession of 45.3 grams of a brownish crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Police said the raid followed credible intelligence that a man would be arriving in the area...
