Goa, Jan. 24 -- Jivba Dalvi marked a significant milestone in his policing career after being promoted from Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) during a piping ceremony held on Thursday at the Goa Police Headquarters in Panaji.

Dalvi was among 19 DySPs who were elevated to the rank of SP as part of the promotion exercise. A total of 19 officers, including Dalvi and 18 others, received their new ranks during the ceremony.

Senior officials of the Goa Police formally decorated the promoted officers with the insignia of Superintendent of Police, symbolising their advancement and added responsibilities within the force.
