MAPUSA: Goa Police SC fought gallantly to come from two goals deficit to edge past Vasco SC 3-2 in the Goa Professional League match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Monday.
Goa Police dominated in the first 30 minutes of the first session but Kunal Salgaonkar and Mayrush Naik time and again failed to find the back of the nylons.
In the 34th and 35th minute Vasco SC scored two quick goals.
A diagonal pass by Vasco SC's medio Laishram Singh was controlled by Ngulgoulal Singsit and after dribbling past the onrushing Goa Police goalkeeper Saiesh Kunkolkar, placed the ball into the goal, 1-0.
