Goa, May 22 -- The Goa Open Innovation Challenge 2025, led by the Startup & IT Promotion Cell under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), has wrapped up with an impressive 548 entries from across India and abroad. Launched as a dynamic platform for collaborative problem-solving, the challenge invited startups and student innovators to develop tech-enabled solutions addressing real-world issues faced by various government departments.
Over 85% of the entries came from startups, with the Department of Tourism receiving the highest number of submissions. Other key departments that attracted notable interest included IT, Science & Technology, and Waste Management.
