Goa, Sept. 12 -- Devastating floods in Firozpur, Punjab, have impacted more than 400 homes, displacing families and severely disrupting daily life. With children unable to attend school and contaminated water creating serious health risks, relief efforts have become a critical lifeline for affected residents.

Amid the crisis, Goa-based NGO Street Providence has stepped in with a relief mission. Volunteers navigated nearly 4 km of floodwaters to deliver essential supplies and extend support to families in need.

Alongside the NGO, the Army, CRPF, police, and local authorities are working tirelessly on rescue and relief operations to mitigate the impact of the disaster and restore normalcy.
