Goa, March 20 -- Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that the four-laning of the entire Goa-Mumbai NH-66 is set for completion within the next six months. With work on nearly 463 km already completed, all pending issues related to the project have been resolved following discussions with the respective state governments.
The ambitious project, which aims to improve connectivity and reduce travel time between Goa and Mumbai, will significantly enhance infrastructure in the region. However, Gadkari also stated that the cost of the entire project is expected to rise to Rs 19,469 crore due to various adjustments and scope changes.
