Goa, May 27 -- The Goa government has made it mandatory for all employees of government departments, semi-government bodies, and government-run corporations to participate in International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21. Previously a voluntary activity, this year's observance will require full attendance, with yoga sessions scheduled across all departments beginning June 1. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who chaired a planning meeting, stated that 100% participation is expected. Employees unable to join sessions at their workplace must take part in community yoga at locations such as temples or schools in their villages and submit a photograph as proof to their respective Heads of Department.
