PORVORIM, March 5 -- Goa Lions beat RBI by 32 runs in the Goa Corporate League organised by Goa Cricket Association, at GCA ground, Porvorim, on Monday.
RBI won the toss and elected to field. The Goa Lions scored 172 for 8 in the alotted 20 overs. Amit Verma was the top scorer of the innings scoring 63 runs off 42 balls. Skipper Amogh Desai (26) and Veer Yadav(22) who opened the batting were among the other run getters.
RBI put up a decent performance as Somitra Singh scalped 3 wickets while Kiran Kashyap picked up 2 wickets. Amit Mishra and Ali Murtaza collected a wicket each.
