Goa, Oct. 15 -- Political leaders across Goa have expressed deep grief over the demise of former Minister and veteran leader Ravi Naik, highlighting his decades-long contributions to the state's public life and development.

Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai described Naik as "a towering figure in Goa's public life" and lauded his efforts in uplifting the Bhandari, Bahujan, and marginalized communities, saying his legacy will be remembered with deep respect.

Goa Congress President Amit Patkar also conveyed his condolences, stating that Naik's "contribution to Goa's political landscape and public life will always be remembered."
