Goa, Oct. 10 -- Goa's first Auto mated Authentication Elec tronic system for detecting traffic violations has been installed at the Mollem Check Post and became operational on Wednesday. While vehicle verification at other border check posts is currently manual, the system is expected to be rolled out across the state in due course. The technology scans vehicle number plates as they approach the check post and displays the cor responding vehicle docu ments on its screen. Ponda Traffic PI Krishna Sinhari said the system will auto matically detect violations based on registration num bers.
