Goa, Oct. 18 -- The Goa High Court has advised the state government and the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) to develop a system that minimizes service extensions and promotes the induction of young talent into vacant posts.

The Court suggested that modifying Recruitment Rules or updating qualification criteria could help achieve this objective. While leaving the final decision to the discretion of the State Government, the Court expressed hope that the authorities would act promptly to implement these measures.

This move is seen as an effort to streamline recruitment, enhance efficiency in public services, and ensure opportunities for younger professionals in the state administration.
