Goa, May 24 -- Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced on Saturday that two health officers and four sanitary inspectors will be suspended next week over allegations of corruption and blackmail. The decision comes after a meeting with the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), where evidence reportedly surfaced linking the six officials to corrupt activities and extortion. Rane confirmed that the suspension process is already underway and that the identities of those involved will be revealed in the coming week.
