Goa, Aug. 9 -- The approval granted by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) for the proposed construction of a jetty and platforms for loading and unloading at Odar and Xelvona in Curchorem, along the Zuari river, sparked heated discussion in the Legislative Assembly on Friday. Environment Minister Alexio Sequeira assured Members that the government would withdraw the permissions if the company failed to submit the required details.
