Goa, Nov. 12 -- The Goa Football Association (GFA) has launched a formal investigation into an alleged case of match-fixing following concerns raised by one of its affiliated clubs.
Confirming the development, GFA President Dr. Caitano Fernandes said that a preliminary inquiry has already been conducted and an initial report has been submitted to the GFA's Ethics Committee for review.
To ensure transparency and independence in the probe, the association has appointed retired DySP Sandesh Chodankar as the Integrity Officer to lead the investigation.
The GFA has also urged fans, players, clubs, and officials to come forward with any information related to the case.
