Goa, Sept. 13 -- A trainee doctor has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 23-year-old Moroccan woman inside the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Goa. Police said the incident occurred on August 31, and the survivor's sister, a Spanish national, lodged a complaint on September 10.

The accused, identified as Dr. Vrushab Doshi from Solapur in Maharashtra, was tracked down in Sangli and taken into custody on Thursday. According to police, he has been booked under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including 64(2)(e) (rape in hospital), 74 (assault or use of criminal force with intent to outrage modesty), 75 (unwelcome sexual contact), 76 (forceful disrobing), and 79 (insulting the modesty).
