Goa, Sept. 19 -- Goa has reportedly descended into a state of violence, according to social activist Dr. Oscar Rebello, following the brutal daylight assault on Rama Kankonkar. The attack, which occurred in broad view of onlookers and cameras, has sparked outrage across the state.

Speaking on the incident, Dr. Rebello criticized the prevailing political and social climate, saying, "From tolerating corruption and supporting defectors over the last three decades, Goa has sunk to abysmal depths. The time for the Chief Minister and Goa Police to take decisive action is now."

The activist highlighted that such violent incidents reflect a deeper societal issue and called for immediate intervention to restore law and order.
