Goa, Oct. 9 -- Customers across several banks in Goa have reported delays in cheque clearing, with some cheques deposited on October 6 yet to be processed. Many account holders expressed frustration over the unexpected hold-ups affecting their financial transactions.
Bank officials attributed the delays to a recent system change implemented by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which has temporarily impacted processing timelines. Authorities assured customers that the issue is being addressed and that normal clearing operations are expected to resume soon.
