Goa, Jan. 9 -- The Crime Branch of Goa Police has arrested a 41-year-old Philippine national for allegedly obtaining an Indian passport by using forged documents and a false identity. The accused was also found to be staying in Goa without a valid visa.
According to police sources, the accused was working as a hairstylist in Porvorim and had managed to secure an Indian passport by furnishing fabricated documents and suppressing material facts. Acting on a complaint, the Crime Branch initiated an investigation that led to his arrest.
Police further informed that the accused was being assisted by Vinit Bandiwdekar, who allegedly helped him procure Aadhaar and other identity documents required for the fraudulent passport application. Bandi...
