Goa, June 1 -- Despite repeated warnings and the looming threat of salary cuts, a large number of Goa Police personnel are openly thumbing their noses at transfer orders-exposing serious cracks in discipline and administrative control within the force.
In the past year, over 1,000 officers were shuffled across the state. However, many-especially mid-level personnel-have either flat-out refused to move or submitted bogus compliance reports, all while continuing to serve at their previous posts.
At Panaji Police Station, the defiance is particularly blatant. Officers like Sushant, Nitin, and Guraya, who were officially transferred to Anjuna, SPCR, and Agassaim respectively, are still clocking in at Panaji as if nothing has changed. Consta...
