Goa, Dec. 10 -- The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has expelled PCC Executive Members Pradip Raghunath Dessai and Devendra Prabhu Dessai for what it described as "serious and repeated anti-party activities."

In an official order issued by GPCC President Amit Patkar, the party announced that both leaders have been removed from all organisational positions and stripped of their primary membership in the Indian National Congress with immediate effect.

The disciplinary action underscores the party's stance on internal dissent as it moves to enforce organisational discipline ahead of upcoming political engagements.
