Goa, May 24 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant reaffirmed the State government's commitment to empowering women in rural Goa by promoting self-reliance and financial independence. Speaking at an event at Ravindra Bhavan in Sanquelim, Sawant presented sewing machines to 150 women who had successfully completed tailoring training.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Levinson Martins, Sanquelim Municipal Council Chairperson Siddhi Prabhu, Anand Kanekar, and Vijay Kumar Natekar.
