Goa, Oct. 24 -- Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has lauded the Drishti Marine lifesavers for their remarkable bravery and swift action in rescuing 42 people during two simultaneous operations off Aguada Bay on Thursday evening.

Despite facing rough seas, thunderstorms, and strong winds, the rescue team successfully saved 38 passengers from a stranded cruise boat and four individuals from a dinghy trapped among rocks.

The Chief Minister commended their courage, coordination, and professionalism, noting that their efforts reflect Goa's strong commitment to maritime safety.
