Goa, May 28 -- In a move aimed at reducing bureaucratic delays, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed all panchayats in the state to streamline the process of issuing property partition and bifurcation certificates for families.
As per the new directive, panchayats are now required to issue these certificates within 15 days of receiving an application - and at no additional cost to the applicant.
The initiative is intended to provide faster resolution for families seeking to divide ancestral or joint properties, a process that has often been bogged down by red tape and delays.
