Goa, March 12 -- On the 114th birth anniversary of Dayanand Bandodkar, Goa's first Chief Minister, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that, starting next year, all programs dedicated to Bandodkar will be held at his Samadhi at Miramar Beach. This decision is part of efforts to honor the legacy of Bandodkar, who played a significant role in shaping Goa's political and social landscape.
To further commemorate his contributions, the renovation work at the Bhausaheb Bandodkar Samadhi in Miramar is currently underway. The renovation is being funded by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) at an estimated cost of Rs.9.48 crore.
