Goa, April 23 -- The much-anticipated Goa Cashew Festival 2025, originally set to take place from April 25 to 27 at D.B. Grounds, Panjim, has been postponed as a mark of respect for the innocent lives lost in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.
The decision was formally announced by the Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC), the organizing body of the event. Officials stated that new dates will be announced shortly, and the festival will be held at a later time in a more appropriate atmosphere.
"The postponement reflects our solidarity with the families of the victims and our deep grief over the tragic loss of lives," a GFDC spokesperson said.
