India, Feb. 3 -- The Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has informed the general public that the permission and No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted to Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. for the extension of its area of operation and the opening of 13 branches in Goa has been withdrawn and cancelled with immediate effect. According to the Registrar's office, the decision was taken following an inspection that revealed serious statutory and regulatory violations by the cooperative society.
