Goa, Aug. 22 -- The induction of senior leaders Digambar Kamat and Ramesh Tawadkar into the Goa Cabinet has drawn praise and optimism from fellow ministers and party members, who hailed it as a move that will strengthen governance and boost development.

Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar said both were "experienced and neededin the Cabinet," adding their presence would give "a greater boost" to Goa's growth. Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho called Kamat's induction a strengthening of the Cabinet "in terms of ideas, decision-making, and overall governance."
