Goa, Nov. 1 -- Goa mourns the passing of veteran tiatrist, actor, playwright, and director Mike Mehta, whose real name was Michael Rodrigues. He passed away at the age of 78, leaving behind a rich legacy in Konkani theatre and cinema. Known for his versatility, Mehta not only shone in tiatr and Goan theatre but also worked in Hindi films and television. Before his artistic pursuits, he practised as a criminal lawyer and served as an assistant director under the legendary Raj Kapoor, marking his contribution to Indian cinema's golden era.
