Goa, June 23 -- In a heartbreaking incident at Chicalim, a security guard en route to his hometown in Bihar was killed after being struck by a speeding truck. The victim, identified as Hare Krishna Roy, was reportedly crossing the road-likely on his way to the railway station-when the accident occurred.

Eyewitnesses said the truck driver attempted to flee the scene without stopping. However, local residents quickly sprang into action, chasing down the vehicle and apprehending the driver before he could escape. They handed him over to the police, ensuring swift accountability.
