Goa, June 10 -- In a significant development, the ongoing strike by doctors at Goa Medical College (GMC) has officially been called off. The decision came following a crucial meeting involving the Chief Minister, representatives of the Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD), the GMC Dean, and senior faculty members.

The resolution to withdraw the strike was made in the larger interest of public health and to ensure that medical services continue uninterrupted. Authorities confirmed that all stakeholders reached a mutual understanding during the discussions.
