Goa, June 9 -- Dean of Goa Medical College (GMC), Dr Shivanand Bandekar, has announced that strict measures will be immediately implemented to control crowding in the hospital's emergency department.

"We have taken strong decisions to ensure that the emergency ward is reserved strictly for genuine cases, and not overrun by unwanted crowds," Dr Bandekar stated.

He assured the public, "This will be done without delay-I promise all Goans effective crowd management at GMC's emergency services."
