Goa, July 12 -- The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has suspended two of its field officials pending investigations into serious lapses - one related to a possible conflict of interest in the tendering process, and the other linked to the failure of a newly constructed road.
The suspensions were triggered by internal reviews and public pressure concerning administrative shortcomings and oversight failures within GIDC operations.
