The Goa Football Association (GFA) has initiated necessary action following concerns raised by a club regarding a suspected case of match-fixing. Speaking after the Executive Committee meeting held on Tuesday, GFA President Caitano Fernandes stated that a preliminary investigation has commenced into the matter. The association has submitted its initial report to the GFA Ethics Committee, which will now proceed with a detailed inquiry. To ensure transparency and integrity, the GFA has appointed retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Sandesh Chodankar as the Integrity Officer to lead the investigation.
