PANJIM: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has nominated Rohan Dessai as its representative for the upcoming The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) meeting. This decision was made by a majority vote at the GCA meeting held on Friday.

However, a complication arose as the High Court of Bombay at Goa had earlier directed that any decision made by the GCA Managing Committee must be forwarded to the BCCI.

Following the meeting, where the majority agreed to nominate Rohan Dessai and a resolution was passed, it was the President Vipul Phadke's responsibility to communicate this decision to the BCCI. This has not yet occurred.
