Goa, Nov. 22 -- The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has directed the immediate withdrawal of fruit-based beverages, ready-to-serve drinks, energy drinks, electrolyte beverages and similar products that continue to use the term "ORS" in their brand or product names. The order, issued on Wednesday, comes after the regulator observed that several companies were still selling such products in retail stores and on e-commerce platforms, despite earlier warnings.
