Goa, Nov. 10 -- A day after PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar alleged that the police had failed to conduct a proper investigation into a job scam case in Ponda involving a local teacher, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that a fresh FIR has been ordered in the matter.

Dhavalikar had raised concerns that the earlier probe was incomplete and failed to hold those responsible accountable. Responding to the allegation, CM Sawant clarified that the police had already conducted a detailed investigation earlier, but assured that the case would be re-examined based on new inputs provided by the minister.
