Goa, April 1 -- A fresh encounter erupted in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Monday, with security forces trapping three terrorists after cordoning off the Panjthirthi area. This marks the second gun battle between the forces and terrorists in just three days, prompting a large-scale operation by the security personnel.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Inspector General Shiv Kumar Sharma stated that the operation would continue until all terrorists were neutralized. He urged residents in nearby border areas to report any suspicious activities to assist in the operation.
