Goa, July 15 -- A French national and noted culinary expert, Patrick Albert (64), was found dead in his hotel room in Verna on Monday afternoon.
According to Verna Police, the incident came to light when the Police Control Room in Margao received a phone call alerting them that a male guest was lying unresponsive in his room. A police team rushed to the scene and found Albert motionless on the bed.
Albert, who had been residing at the hotel for the past three years, was immediately shifted to the South Goa District Hospital in Margao, where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
