Four security guards, three scrap dealers arrested for Kundaim Industrial Estate theft

PONDA, Jan. 27 -- The Ponda police have successfully cracked a blind theft case, wherein 501 bags of plastic raw material worth Rs 15.70 lakh, were stolen from a plastics company at the Kundaim Industrial Estate on January 23. The police arrested seven people in connection with the theft- four security guards working in the vicinity of the IDC and three scrap dealers for purchasing the stolen goods.

After the theft was reported by Vrindavan Polymers Pvt Ltd at IDC Kundaim, the Ponda police began discreet surveillance of the four security guards who had suspiciously gone into hiding.
