Goa, May 29 -- In a joint operation, Collem Police and the Forest Department arrested four individuals for allegedly trespassing into the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and assaulting forest patrol officers.

According to official sources, the suspects unlawfully entered the protected area, known for its rich biodiversity and strict conservation measures. When confronted by patrolling forest personnel, the intruders reportedly turned violent, attacking the staff with a knife and stones. Several forest officials sustained injuries and were immediately given medical attention. All are currently in stable condition.
