Goa, Oct. 29 -- Police have registered four separate cases against four women from Arambol for allegedly obstructing tourists while selling items on the beach without the required permissions.

According to the police, the women - all residents of Arambol and natives of Karnataka - were found selling woollen threads, mehendi cones, and hand bands to visiting tourists.

While no arrests have been made so far, the accused have been served notices under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 for obstructing public movement and engaging in unauthorized commercial activity.
