Goa, June 25 -- In a significant breakthrough, Colvale Police have arrested four youths, including a minor, for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into Colvale Central Jail. The accused reportedly used a rope tied to a tree to throw drug packets over the prison's rear boundary wall.
According to police sources, the method involved using the cover of darkness and knowledge of the jail's layout to discreetly deliver narcotics to inmates. Investigators suspect the operation was part of a larger network of external suppliers and internal facilitators.
