Goa, April 9 -- In response to the temporary closure of Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane announced on Wednesday that a departmental inquiry has been initiated to investigate the matter. The closure of the sanctuary had raised concerns among wildlife enthusiasts and tourists.
Minister Rane further emphasized the need for officers to be more proactive in their roles, urging them to be on the field and actively involved in their responsibilities instead of remaining in their offices. He stressed that the management of such vital natural resources should be handled efficiently and with greater dedication to ensure the protection of wildlife and the seamless operation of sanctuaries.
