Goa, July 14 -- With Goa's picturesque waterfalls becoming major attractions during the monsoon, authorities have stepped up safety measures to protect visitors from potential hazards such as slippery trails, strong currents, and unpredictable terrain.

Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane announced that Forest Guards have been deployed at key waterfall sites across the state to ensure public safety and discourage reckless behaviour.

"These natural sites are breathtaking, especially during the rains, but they can also be dangerous if precautions are not taken," Rane said. "Our forest personnel are on-site to monitor activity and guide visitors, ensuring that safety protocols are followed."
