Goa, Nov. 12 -- The Directorate of Fisheries has issued a notice directing owners of non-operational and un registered fishing vessels and dinghies lying idle or abandoned at the Fisher ies Complex, Cutbona Jetty, Velim-Salcete, to remove them within seven days. The department has warned that failure to com ply will invite necessary action without any further notice. This is not the first time such a directive has been is sued. Last year, similar no tices were pasted on 46 old and unused fishing vessels and dinghies that had been anchored at the Cutbona fishing jetty for an extend ed period.
