Goa, Dec. 14 -- Fire authorities have withdrawn the fire licence granted to Diaz night club at Caga Waddo, Anjuna, citing major fire safety deficiencies. Officials said a surprise inspection carried out on December 13 found the fire prevention and safety systems at the premises to be insufficient. Following the findings, the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services revoked the NOC with immediate effect and communicated the decision to the management and local panchayat for further action.
